   It is a privilege to serve the students, staff, parents, and community members of Mitchell Senior! I am enthusiastic when it comes to education and lifelong learning! My vision is working together with our amazing staff to provide quality instructional practices and leadership, and to facilitate a positive, growth mindset learning environment for all. Mitchell Senior values its students and is committed to helping them achieve their social, emotional, academic, and physical potential in a safe, nurturing environment.

   The Mitchell Senior staff is dedicated to high standards for our diverse student body incorporating our tradition of academic and athletic excellence coupled with innovative and future-thinking expectations. We provide an environment where students can be sure that they will get the exposure to skills that will help them to be successful young adults in an ever changing world and build the habits of leaders. Every student at Mitchell Senior is enrolled in one of our FLIGHTS or LAUNCH classes to grow their leadership potential, digital citizenship, and character traits with our incorporation of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.   We also provide students with a number of extracurricular opportunities to get them connected to school and create lifelong memories. This year we have added a STEAM, Art, and Culinary Arts wheel to add more exploration during middle school.  Restorative practices based on respect, responsibility, relationship building, and relationship-repairing round out the expectations of the positive culture and climate at Mitchell Senior. 

   The T-Bird family of learners does not stop at the students. Our teaching and support staff are also committed to the same academic excellence and growth mindset when it comes to learning. We make sure to continue to hone our skills and proficiency. We take pride in our professional and collaborative approach to ensuring all students learn at high levels. We continually learn from each other through a shared vision and planning. Our collaborative-friendly culture, shared beliefs, and behaviors lead to reliable growth in student learning.
